High performance milling chuck

The KWT HKS milling chuck is the alternative solution to hydraulic expansion chucks and shrink chucks.

This HKS precision-collet chuck has been developed for CNC-machines and machining centres with high requirements to the cutting performance and the machining accuracy at different revolutions.

Application:
For roughing and finishing applications in milling where high torque transmission, maximum accuracy, compactness and easy operation are required.

KWT precision-collet chucks KPS system.

The KWT KPS collet chuck is the alternative solution to hydraulic expansion chucks and shrink chucks.
This KPS precision-collet chuck has been developed for CNC-machines and machining centres with high requirements to the cutting performance and the machining accuracy at different revolutions.

Suitable to different machines and machining, the KPS collet chucks are available as holders SK 30/40/50 DIN 69871, JIS B 6339 (MAS BT) and DIN 69893 (HSK).
All KPS precision-collet chucks are standard pre-balanced with a balance quality of G = 2,5 at a speed of 30.000 rpm. Other balancing qualities according to our customers wishes are possible. The requirements for accurate borings and long tool lifes are given.

Advantages compared to conventional collet chucks:

• High flexibility through changeable collets with Ø 0,5 up to 16 mm.
• Plain clamping nut without grooves for high speed machining.
• Slim version for deep borings.
• The clamping surface has got a tilt angle of 4°, that radial energies can’t appear during the clamping and can’t influence to the concentricity.
